Continental Lovers tease the door to the power pop pantheon open with their single to date, 'Connection'. The UK fourpiece channelled the darker side of diehard romanticism into their infectious earworm that pulses with unflinching desire and delivers an intensely kinetic blend of effervescent melodies and twisted lyrical themes that burst with frenzied devotion. It's a sonic whirlwind of manic passion and relentless longing, wrapped in irresistible hooks that will linger longer than a stalker in the bushes.

As a direct response to 'Wedding Song', which features as a remixed B-side, 'Connection' takes the narrative deeper into the obsessional mindset of a spurned lover with lyrics like 'Do you realise, when you broke those ties that bind, I would follow you behind'. Romantic? Certainly. Unsettling? Absolutely.   

Produced by Willie Dowling, who can also be heard hammering out the pop rock piano progressions, ‘Connection’ is a masterclass in fusing high-end production with chaotic emotion.
