During a four week residency at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, the Bill Evans Trio took part in the historic 'Jazz 625' show at the BBC Television Theatre, Shepherd's Bush on 19th March 1965 for broadcast by the BBC, capturing the pianist in thrilling form. Bass player Chuck Israels, who stepped manfully into the void left by Scott LaFaro's tragic death four years earlier, now had a well-developed rapport with the leader and Larry Bunker's West Coast cool propels everything along effortlessly.
Bill Evans - piano; Chuck Israels - bass; Larry Bunker - drums with host Humphrey Lyttleton.
