Engineered by John Loder under the watchful eye of Crass’ Penny Rimbaud (credited as Elvis Rimrod!)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eConflict wasted no time stating their intent as the opening song, ‘Conflict’ charged into life with a razor wire guitar strike with Jerwood bellowing ‘CONFLICT!’ as the band revved into life.\u003cbr\u003ePrimal basic and raw as fuck, these early Conflict tracks are the sound of the band getting to know their instruments, revelling in the freedom and expression of their sound. Penny and John did a fantastic job in harnessing Conflict’s youthful energy and the single was an instant hit amongst the flourishing anarcho-punk movement.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA few years ago following the passing of John Loder, the original multi track tapes were returned to the band.
